The Mistake By Elle Kennedy Ebook Download
About The Mistake
New York Times bestseller Elle Kennedy brings you a sexy new Off-Campus novel that can be read as a standalone…
He's a player in more ways than one…
College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.
Now he's going to need to up his game…
After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat…and she plans on driving him wild.
I loved the first book, so I decided to read this one and was so disappointed. This story dragged way too much in the middle, so unnecessarily. The guy had no character, the girl was annoying. Nothing to like about them but the author writes so well.
Funny, sexy (uniquely and not excessively), even emotional at a point or two—with an epilogue that satisfies this book as well as the book prior (The Deal). Highly recommend this read.
This book is amazing ..... You have to read it... AMAZING....
absolutely fell in love with this book💘
I wish I could give this book 100 stars
All the series so far are just the best! I never thought I would be addicted but here I am! Everything about this book was just perfect!
I love, a great romance novel, but too many or so predictable. This book was so refreshing. It was easy to fall in love with Grace and Johnny Aka Logan. Their story relationship didn’t feel rushed or fake, just two people figuring it out. Definitely a great read!
Loved this! and a great read!
I must say the reviews were right about this one it’s not my favorite but I did love the story in the end. The beginning was VERY slow & I felt like there was some things that were just thrown in there for fluff that served no real purpose. I would have loved more expansion on when he was trying to win her back rather than the Paris trip part. The sex scenes were very intense which was good & Graces was not boring despite what the reviews said. Onto Dean’s story, I must say I’m gonna go broke paying for all these books but I have not an ounce of regret. Good job Elle.
I found this series yesterday afternoon and have read every free moment. I love the series so far and became insta-loyal to Elle as an author! Moving on to the next one!
Loved this book! Would definitely recommend!
I thought that the book was overall good and told well. The parts that I did not like were that it seemed there were a lot of plot holes that were not exactly filled and many different events occurred that did not really matter to the story. I thought Logan and grace were cute, but their relationship was not as fun to read as Garret and Hannah’s was. Overall a good book.
I love Logan, but Grace was bland and boring. The book was good overall, but it could’ve been better, Logan deserved better. I loved the Epilogue and to be able to read a little about Garret and Hannah.
aboslutley loved it and am loving this series, can’t put it down!!
didn’t love it as much as The Deal but loved Logan’s character. although Grace really bored me, her character wasn’t intriguing to me...kind of left me wanting more out their relationship.
Loved it, it is a great book Logan who didn’t have girlfriends but wanted what his best friend Garret and Hannah have. When one night he goes to look for a friend but is at the wrong place. he finds Grace who is a freshman and end up in her dorm. There’s chemistry, between Logan and Grace, Sadness for them both, and love and happiness.
This book was amazing. I loved the characters and everything about it. Highly recommend
This one was not quite as good as “The Deal”. The characters seemed extremely underdeveloped. Grace had absolutely no personality. Logan was slightly better but I didn’t find myself LOVING the book. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either.
This is the second book in the series and at first I was skeptical because of two things: one it costs 4.99 and two I didn’t know if it could follow in the steps of the first one. But my god. Every page, every single line, I’m hooked. There is so much detail and love that the author has clearly put in and I love it. The writing is so beautiful and the relationships are so natural and not forced. If I wasn’t so cheap, I would purchase all of the other books but that’ll have to wait.
I like this book it was ok I like the story but the deal is way more interesting and fun. I love Garret.
Not only was this a great love story of two college students, but also a true testament to the meaning of family. I loved how Grace and Logan had total opposite types of parents. Grace really struggled with Logan's decision for after college. She had the perfect parents, divorced but still best friends and I think she was blind to what Logan was going through. It was cool watching her open her eyes to Logan and his love for his father and brother. I loved the struggles Logan was going through with his family, because it was similar to the struggle I had growing up. I wasn't passing up the opportunity to play for a major league or anything like that, but I had similar parents to Logan's. I could relate to his story. I loved, yes loved again, the ringer Grace put Logan through to prove his intentions were good. Gave me some ideas for when my husband screws up again. 😄 Good book. Highly recommend.
I loved this book! I don't know why it took me so long to start this one considering i loved The Deal. Logan and Grace were amazing. I really liked how they got together and how logan worked so hard to win her back. I loved his back story about his family too. I wish i knew more about Jeff. I felt so bad for him. I also like Daisy and Morris. I wish I knew their story. I also couldn't stand Ramona, even though i kinda felt sorry for her in the end. I just don't think i could've been friends with her after everything went down. Grace was awesome though I loved her personality and her and Logan together was the best. I can't wait to read The Score! I keep hearing it's even better than this one <3
This story was not what I was expecting and it was a pleasant surprise. Grace just wants to experience freedom and be the typical college girl but so far she has not found anyone that excites her. Logan shows up at the wrong room and meets Grace and so it begins. This story was a journey for Logan and you felt his passion, his heartache, and hopelessness. Truly hope that we get to hear more about this couple in the next book and see how their relationship is evolving.
Love love loved this book! And the series!!! I've never laughed so hard reading a book! So funny seeing the thoughts of these characters. And loved how each book connected to the next and kept giving glimpses of past characters.
This is book # 2 in the Off-Campus series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. It is just better read in order intended since it has such fun pieces and inside jokes that will be better understood if you read in the correct order. John Logan and Grace Ivers meet in the college dorms. Logan is not looking for anyone special, until he figures out that he was not lusting after his best friend's girl - just their relationship. Grace, on the other hand is not sure what to trust about Logan, since every chance they get together, Logan screws it up somehow. Logan has a lot of pressure on him. Star hockey player, college courses, friends and roommates, and job forced upon him by his alcoholic father. Like I said, a LOT of pressure. How does he relieve it? He finds a hook-up around campus. Grace is an excellent student who is just trying to survive her Freshman year in college. Her father is a professor, so he pressures her to stay away from the fun and the parties. Grace's mom is the opposite and wants her to have too much fun. Now what? Logan and Grace keep running into one another. Parties, movies, and the dorm. Logan cannot keep away from her now that he knows she brings him peace. Just being with her settles him mind and all the chaotic thoughts about his empty future. He tells her things he does not confide in anyone - even his very best friend. Grace has some friend problems of her own. When the jealous puck-bunny calls her out for lying about being with Logan, well .... you have to read it to believe it!! I sure hope they make this a movie because that will be one EPIC scene!! I found that this story was just as good as the first book in the Off-Campus series. The characters were there too, Such humor, fun and even some growth going on. Just an amazing cannot put it down read!!
Other than an abrupt ending, the prose flowed nicely. A fun light read.
I was reluctant to read The Mistake because I was so in love with reading about Garrett and Hannah but once I got to reading I felt just the ably Logan and Grace. I'm looking forward to reading about Dean and Allie. I'm a little concerned about how Dean will grow on me because he's a huge ho-bag but I guess we shall see here soon. 😁
So far the 2 have been great, funny and so romantic, however, I kind of feel that there was no need for the 2 year epilogue since dean's book is back at the pad ....
Already one of my favorite series! I CANT wait for Dean's story! :)
I found THE MISTAKE to be funny and sexy. The H and h are well-developed characters that I was immediately invested in and rooting for. Also, this author deserves props for producing a beautiful book that is NOT full of editing mistakes, as so many self-pubbed books are. I'll read every book in this series...eagerly.

I found this book after I read book 1. You'll want to read them both! You will fall in love with this player & how he conforms after meeting Grace! Great job!
Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved it! John Logan was such a great character. I loved that once he fell for Grace, he never strayed from that. Even before he realized just how deep his feelings were for her. His family life provided a very interesting side story that really had you pulling hard for him. Great book!
Before I talk about anything else, can we all please take a moment to reflect on the amazing cover? I'm not someone who usually pays much attention to them, because I'm always eager to get into what's between the covers, but that doesn't mean I can't take a moment or ten to appreciate one. Now that that's done, I can tell you all about how much this book amazed me and entertained me. I haven't read many books by Elle Kennedy, but I'm beginning to realize how talented a story teller she is. She somehow manages to take a guy who messes up with a great girl and turns it into a journey of self discovery and growth for the both of them. I was hoping for something funny and hot, but instead found a story that is mentally, physically, and emotionally engaging while also being impossible to put down. I loved that the story was told from dual points of view. It was great being inside John "Logan" Logan's head and in Grace Iver's too. There were no guessing games about what they were thinking about or about how the felt about each other. However the real fun for them began when they tried to figure out the mess their "relationship" had become. I was totally surprised by how easy things felt between Logan and Grace, especially with them being on opposite sides of the social hierarchy at Briar University and polar opposites when it came to personalities, but it turns out none of that mattered at all. It's hard to pin point what it was about this book I enjoyed the most. It's a three way tie between the chemistry, dialogue, and issues Logan and Grace faced. Logan and Grace had wonderful chemistry. While things may not have started out slowly between them, I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between them develop. I felt like it was a slow burn, because they both had to work to overcome choices the other had made. I also love how much I laughed while I read this book. Both Grace and Logan were extremely witty in their repartee with one another and in their own inner monologues and thoughts. I thought it was adorable seeing Grace babble, but that's because I have that particular habit as well. College is a time to try new things, but as Grace finds, somethings don't change. I empathized with her for the situation she found herself dealing with concerning a trusted friend. I also understood her pain when Logan made the mistake that changed both of them. I also understood Logan's pain, confusion, and torn feelings about Hannah and Grace. I even understood his desire and fear when he looked to his future and didn't like what he saw. I will say this though, even though Grace and Logan were each facing so many challenges and changes, I loved how resolute they were in facing them. When Grace needed support, Logan was there and vice versa. This series has quickly become one of my favorites. I loved seeing Garrett and Hannah again. I loved being surprised by Logan and Grace's interactions with one another. Seeing all four of the roommates interact and support one another, was also satisfying to read about. They look at for one another as much as they tease each other. I loved watching Logan realize the error he made and then do everything he could to rectify it. That boy certainly knows how to woo. I look forward to seeing how Elle Kennedy tops herself with Dean and Tucker's stories.
I loved The Deal and couldn't wait to read the next story in the series and I was definitely not disappointed! However, it is just too hard to wait for the next book! Hurry - please!!!!
Can't wait for the next one!
Absolutely loved!! Couldn't put it down!
There was some seriously hilarious dialogue in this book. I loved every minute of it. Can't wait for Deans turn.
Loving this series. Can't wait for Dean's story!!!
